I have never received a massage from those massage places in the middle of the mall. I have looked on adoringly as others relax in the middle of chaos, but come on. I'm not going to pay $15 for 10 minutes of relaxation!
Today, my husband and I were walking around and saw this adorable Chinese man (we spoke a little Mandarin) with massage chairs set up. My husband said "Go ahead...you know you want to!" Of course I wanted to, but we surely cannot afford this man. I looked at his price chart and it was $12 for 12 minutes. Not bad, not bad. My sweet husband was going to buy me a mall massage! So, I sat down and within moments, the mall melted away. I was literally in a haven of relaxation. I almost drooled several times!
I would never have recommended a mall masseur...until now. Next time you are at the mall, don't just watch others get a massage. Get your own mall massage-you will be hooked.
2 Things You Said:
I've done it, and it was well worth it, mainly because it was completely unplanned.
Dude, those guys park themselves right outside of The Body Shop(pe?) in Mall St. Matthews, and I've often wondered how much business it drives away just because people instinctively speed up going past them.
